The Training Schedule Breakdown

April 8th Session 1: Communication Skills and Working Together with Schools:

Create Great Results for Children.

It’s important for there to be positive relationships between parent

and school for true partnership to occur and to promote successful

outcomes for children.

April 15th Session 2: Overview of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

Having knowledge of students’ civic rights under IDEA is crucial if

parents are to be genuine participants in their child’s education.

Thus, we will cover how Special Education should work.

A well written plan has annual SMART Goals:

S – Specific

T – Time-Bound

How to write SMART goals and take steps to make sure they are followed

thru will be discussed.
