 May 19, 2012 Family Caregiver Guides
Come learn about The Family Caregiver Act which allows a person aleady receiving services funded by the Division for Developmental Disabilities (DDD), to receive those services in a place of their choice and by a person of their choice.

 May 29 - July 10 Cooking Matters (presented in both English and Spanish)
Cooking Matters Signature Courses teach family members skills that will last a lifetime and more as they shre them with relatives and friends. when families practice what they've learned during the six-week course - how to plan, purchase, and prepare healthy, tasty, and affordable foods at home.

 Recruiting: Youth and Adults for Mayor's Youth Commission in Denver
The City and County of Denver is recruiting Youth and Adults for the Mayor's Youth Commission. Applications accepted through May 31, 2012

 Creation of State Office of Early Childhood Postponed
The Office of Early Childhood is being postponed indefinitely because the Colorado Legislature has postponed action on SB12-130.

 Denver Safenite Program
Denver Safe City diversion officers and Denver police officers team up every year from April to September to run the Denver SafeNite Program. The program offers court diversion opportunities for youth 17 years of age and younger whild police actively enforce Denver's Curfew Ordinance.

 July 19 - 20, 2012: Adams County Housing Authority Section 8 Lottery
Adams County Housing Authority (ACHA) will be issuing Lottery cards for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. Lattery cards will be available for 2 days only.
